Oud frankincense (agarwood frankincense)

 

We have taken medium-sized, rather lighter pieces of al-hojari frankincense without bark and impregnated them with agarwood oil (oud in Arabic) in an elaborate process. Agarwood oil is used less frequently than, for example, rose oil, mainly because the price per kilo is twice as high as the price for rose oil (one pays over 25,000 EUR for a kilo of natural agarwood oil). The scent from the jar takes a bit of getting used to for Europeans, but when smoked, this incense with oud gives off an incomparable variety of aromas. Fine-matter oriented people report back a very high energy level and concentration potential.
